Pedestrian alleges dog attacked her without provocation, resulting in injuries

A woman is suing the owners of a dog she claims attacked her without provocation.

The lawsuit was filed in the Madison County Circuit Court by plaintiff Pamela Rubin against defendants Jeanna Ramirez and Marco Ramirez.

According to the complaint, complaint states that on August 23, 2022, Rubin claims she was on a public thoroughfare bordering the defendants’ property on Aug. 23, 2022, when a dog owned by the defendants attacked her. The plaintiff alleges the defendants knew or should have known about the dog’s dangerous propensities but failed to take necessary precautions.
